”When Don Williams sings, you immediately know who it is,” Eddie said. “His impressive track record of 40 years worth of hits has won him millions of fans. Don’s latest album shows that what he does still matters to the industry. This will be the first time that we’ve gotten together for an interview, and we’re sure looking forward to it. To have his long-time producer Garth Fundis join us that evening will make it even more special.”

The ‘Intimate Evening’ interview series began in November 2005, when Grand Ole Opry [5] star Marty Stuart [6] joined Eddie as his first guest. The show takes place in the Country Music Hall of Fame’s Ford Theater once each month and is broadcast live on 650 AM and www.wsmonline.com [7]. WSM has been on air since October 5, 1925 and has been home of the Grand Ole Opry since its inception.

Don is currently promoting his new album, And So It Goes, which features appearances from Keith Urban [8], Vince Gill [9] and Chris Stapleton. “I Just Came Here For The Music,” Don’s collaboration with Alison Krauss [10] on the project, was nominated for a GRAMMY in the Best Country Duo/Group Category. The album can be ordered at www.sugarhillrecords.com [11].
