Forty years ago, country supergroup Alabama paid their dues as the summertime house band of a tiny bar in Myrtle Beach, S.C. called The Bowery. As they prepare to launch their 2013 Back to the Bowery Tour, Randy Owen, Teddy Gentry and Jeff Cook are holding a special fan appreciation concert to relive the memories made from the very stage where it all started back in 1973.

On Thursday, April 4, they’ll perform at the historic Bowery in a free concert for those who have supported their career over the past 40 years. Current fan club members will have the opportunity to win their way into the intimate concert through a special lottery drawing, with the remaining standing room only capacity being available to follow on a first come, first serve basis.
