Carrie Underwood will return to American Idol on April 4 to debut her new single, “See You Again.” Her performance will air live on FOX at 8/7c. Described by Billboard as ‘truly a taste of heaven,’ the song was written by Carrie, Hillary Lindsey and David Hodges and is the fourth single from her platinum-selling Blown Away album.

“Two Black Cadillacs” recently became Carrie’s 17th No. 1 single and her 8th as a co-writer. She is currently touring the country on her Blown Away Tour with special guest Hunter Hayes.

In other Carrie news, she will perform on the 48th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards, where she is nominated for Female Vocalist of the Year for the eighth consecutive year and Album of the Year for Blown Away. She has won a total of 10 ACM Awards, including Entertainer of the Year twice. In 2010, she was honored with the ACM Triple Crown, an award presented to an artist with wins for New Artist, Male/Female Vocalist and Entertainer of the Year.
