A homeless woman was arrested Thursday morning in Fort Mill after a standoff with a State Trooper.

Police say Pamela Koon, 46, was wielding a knife in front of the Lowe’s Home Improvement store on SC-160.

The trooper held the woman with a TASER until Fort Mill authorities arrived.

One officer managed to get behind the woman. He knocked the knife from her hand as other officers secured her hands behind her back.

Koon was charged with third degree assault and battery and remains in custody on $1,000 bond.
