Tate Stevens, winner of The X Factor, Season 2, hoped his own excitement about his April 21 show at The Midland by ACM in Kansas City near in his hometown of Belton, Missouri, would result in a great album release celebration. However, he was surprised to learn that within just 30 minutes, all 3,000 seats were sold out.
“1st show sold out!! Still can’t believe it. Second show on sale Monday at 10am. Can’t freakin believe it. Thank you #tatenation KC Rocks!!!!!” Tate tweeted when he received the news.
Fans sent their congratulations through Twitter, including @rcaponetto. “Didn’t get tix on time!” she replied which led Tate to announce a second performance for the following day, Monday, April 22. All ticketholders for both shows will receive a copy of Tate’s self-titled debut album, set for release on April 23 and featuring his current single, “Power Of A Love Song.”
