ACM Lifting Lives has announced Thompson Square and ChildFund International as its March ‘My Cause’ web feature. The monthly series brings awareness to artist-supported charitable organizations. It also supports fundraising efforts for those organizations. To watch the web feature, visit www.ACMLiftingLives.org.

This Month’s My Cause: ChildFund International highlights a foundation that serves as a global child development and protection agency for more than 17.8 million children and family members in 31 countries. The organization helps children from poverty-stricken areas of the globe thrive to reach their full potential and becomes leaders of change.

Thompson Square is encouraging fans to join the cause by offering those who sponsor a child through ChildFund between now and March 23 two free backstage meet and greet passes. Fans can use the link available with the video to sign up to sponsor a child and send an email with their confirmation to ChildFund@thompsonsquare.com with the subject line ‘concert date, concert city, your name, your phone number.’ Watch the video here.

At last year’s ACM Awards, ACM Lifting Lives encouraged artists to speak on camera about the causes they support. My Cause allows ACM Lifting Lives to demonstrate the Academy’s support of country artists. Over the past two years, ACM Lifting Lives has donated more than $45,000 to artists’ favorite charities and will again make donations.

ACM Lifting Lives is the philanthropic arm of the Academy of Country Music, dedicated to improving lives through music. Each year, the organization provides grants to music therapy and music education programs. It also supports members of the country music community facing unexpected medical or financial hardship.
