Tim McGraw’s new single, “Highway Don’t Care,” is a triple threat. Tim teams up with Taylor Swift on vocals and Keith Urban on guitar on the track. Reaction to the single has been feverish, with radio stations playing it ahead of its official release date. The song also debuted at No. 1 on the Country Digital Songs Chart before being officially released.

Written by Brad Warren, Brett Warren, Mark Irwin and Josh Kear, “Highway Don’t Care” closes out Tim’s latest album, Two Lanes of Freedom. On the track, Tim and Taylor trade vocals that tell of the undeniable pain of being torn apart by distance.  With Keith’s soulful guitar licks added in, the single is getting rave reviews from critics.

“McGraw’s collaboration with Swift and Keith Urban, is a blowout of a send-off ballad,” wrote the Los Angeles Times. “To close out the record, McGraw comes full circle with another highway song, ‘Highway Don’t Care,’…It’s one heck of an encore…” wrote the Edmonton Journal.

Next on Tim’s agenda is an all-star concert special, ACM Presents: Tim McGraw’s Superstar Summer Night, which will tape April 8 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas and air at a later date on CBS. During the special, Tim will gather his friends from country music and beyond to help kick off the 2013 touring season and raise funds and awareness for ACM Lifting Lives.

Tim will then launch his Two Lanes of Freedom Tour on May 2 in Birmingham, Alabama. The tour will stop in 30 cities through July and feature Brantley Gilbert and Love and Theft as special guests.
