Few people could be happier than York Mayor Eddie Lee that the widening of the Highway 5 Bypass is finally completed. Lee says a former mayor who owns property along the bypass says economic development is all about roads,water and zoning.

Lee says there is excitement over the possibility that the city could develop some of the property along the Bypass, perhaps even build a business or industrial park. Lee says he chairs a brand new economic development board that specifically focuses on the city of York.
