Julie Roberts Launches PledgeMusic Campaign to Support New Album

Julie Roberts is no stranger to life’s highs and lows. She released her self-titled debut album in 2004 which sold more than 500,000 copies and included the hit “Break Down Here.” She made a slew of high-profile appearances and received a number of nominations at the CMA and ACM Awards. Then in 2010, she left her longtime record label, lost her home and car to the flood that devastated Nashville and was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis.

No stranger to overcoming obstacles, Julie is back on the country music scene. She re-introduced herself with an appearance on NBC’s The Voice in April. Now Sun Records — the Memphis record label that first signed Johnny Cash, Elvis Presley, Jerry Lee Lewis and Roy Orbison — will release Julie’s new album, Good Wine and Bad Decisions, on October 29. It will be the label’s first new release in decades.

With the first single from the project due later this summer, Julie has launched a PledgeMusic campaign to support her new record. Supporters of the campaign will gain access to Julie’s creative journey over the next three months as she completes the album.

“I am excited to do a campaign with PledgeMusic and give my dedicated fans access to my music in a unique way,” Julie said. “I’m living my dream with this experience and I look forward to be even closer to those who have supported me from the beginning as well as to reach new fans.”

Incentives for pledgers include producer credit in the liner notes, tickets to a release party, a private show from Julie and a first listen of the album followed by dinner with Julie and her mother. The album can be pre-ordered HERE.
