More road closures along Interstate 77 are coming next week in York County.
The State Department of Transportation issued a statement Friday announcing plans to close a two mile-portion of the northbound lanes between Dave Lyle Blvd. and the Catawba River.
“The two left lanes along this portion of I-77 northbound will remain open to traffic during this repair project,” the statement reads.
“However, motorists should expect congestion and delays due to the lane closures. Motorists should also consider using alternate routes.”
The work is set to wrap up by July 8th. Road crews first found holes in two I-77 overpasses two weeks ago.
