Jason Aldean headlined the first ever country show at Boston’s Fenway Park, bringing his Night Train Tour to town for a two-night stand July 12-13, breaking multiple venue attendance records in the process. The first show sold out in a record-setting seven minutes, leading Jason to announce a second show which also sold out. He also broke Paul McCartney’s single night record and The Dave Matthews Band’s two-night record previously set in 2006.

“Boston is my kinda town,” Jason said. “There were fans in the streets partying all day, so they were ready when we hit the stage, and they just never let up…so neither did we! This was a huge night in my career and I think a big night for country music fans too…we were able to write some new history together here in Boston tonight.”

Both nights feature special guests Miranda Lambert, Jake Owen and Thomas Rhett. The Night Train Tour continues Saturday, July 20, with a show at Wrigley’s Field in Chicago.
