Rock Hill Schools recognize 75 volunteers for service to schools, students

The Rock Hill School District Wednesday hosted a luncheon for some of its many community supporters,  volunteers and partners who invest in schools.

District community services coordinator Serena Williams said each year Rock Hill honors and recognizes 75 partners that have made significant contributions during the previous school year.

And the district’s volunteer corps is more than three times the district’s total number of faculty and staff

The Rock Hill School District has 18,000 students.

Wednesday’s luncheon took place at Events at Manchester.
