The Band Perry’s Fourth of July plans include headlining “Music City 4th of July: Let Freedom Sing” in downtown Nashville. They’re looking forward to playing during the annual celebration, especially because they will be accompanied by a special group of musicians.

“We’re so excited to take part in the festivities here in Music City for Fourth of July,” Reid Perry said. “But also for the chance that we also get to play three of our songs with the Nashville Orchestra as well, which will be the first time that we’ve played with an orchestra or marching band of any kind. So we’re really looking forward to that.”

Kimberly Perry is also excited about playing with the orchestra, but she’s looking forward to being home for the holiday too. “Usually, we’re out on the road somewhere, way far away from home for the Fourth of July,” she said. “But it truly is one of our top two favorite holidays, so to spend it home, right here in Tennessee and in Music City, will be a really wonderful experience.”

The fireworks display that wraps up Let Freedom Sing is one of the largest in the southeast. Just don’t let Neil Perry near the trigger. “Usually on Fourth of July, Reid, dad and myself are in charge of the fireworks,” he said. “I’m hoping I get my hand on the firework button during the Nashville show.”
