Trace Adkins celebrated his 10th anniversary as a member of the Grand Ole Opry Friday, August 23. He closed the show with a special 30-minute segment that included his music as well as a video of congratulatory messages from his friends such as Blake Shelton, Oak Ridge Boys, Gene Watson, Hunter Hayes and Ronnie Milsap, who inducted him into the Opry on August 23, 2003.

“It’s been a great ten years with Trace as an Opry member,” Opry Vice President and General Manager Pete Fisher said. “He’s made trips to the top of the charts, toured from coast to coast and beyond, and become a national television personality, taking the Opry with him wherever he’s gone and also always coming home to the Opry stage. Here’s to the next ten years.”

Opry performances are held every weekend of the year, and the Tuesday Night Opry continues through December 10.  To plan an Opry visit, call (800) SEE-OPRY or log on to
