ACM Lifting Lives has announced that the September “My Cause” web feature will spotlight Florida Georgia Line and their cause, Outnumber Hunger. The monthly series brings awareness to artist-supported charitable organizations. It also supports fundraising efforts for those organizations. To watch the web feature, visit www.ACMLiftingLives.org.

Outnumber Hunger helps fight hunger in local communities by helping Feeding America secure meals for its network of local food banks.  Approximately one in six Americans struggles with hunger, often having to choose between buying food or paying bills. Florida Georgia Line, General Mills and Feeding America have teamed up to Outnumber Hunger.

My Cause allows ACM Lifting Lives to demonstrate the Academy’s support of country artists. Over the past two years, ACM Lifting Lives has donated more than $190,000 to artists’ favorite charities and will again make donations.

ACM Lifting Lives is the philanthropic arm of the Academy of Country Music, dedicated to improving lives through music. Each year, the organization provides grants to music therapy and music education programs. It also supports members of the country music community facing unexpected medical or financial hardship.
