Keith Urban will discuss his new album, Fuse, during a two-part in depth interview with Suzanne Alexander on GAC’s Daily Countdown, premiering September 9 and 10 at 12/11a. Keith will release Fuse on September 10.

“I’ve got to say this is the first album we’ve ever made where I’m completely happy with it, top to bottom,” Keith said. “There’s nothing I would change and nothing I wish I could get back in and tinker with and I’ve never had that happen.”

Keith goes into great detail about the recording process, which involved a production team of more than a half dozen producers. The track “Shame” in particular spoke to Keith. “We’re talking about the human condition, which is universal,” Keith said. “I heard the song and I was just, ‘I know that guy.’ I’ve been that guy, you know. The chorus starts, ‘I’m not trying to be perfect, I’m just trying to do the next right thing in my life.’”

Then, on The Hits: Keith Urban, premiering Monday, September 9 at 8/7c, Keith shares some of his favorite music videos during the one hour special. The list includes videos by Miranda Lambert, Little Big Town, Eric Church, Blake Shelton, Taylor Swift, Jason Aldean, Darius Rucker, Kix Brooks, Dustin Lynch and of course, Keith himself.

Keith is currently headlining his Light the Fuse tour and says it’s the fans that get him fired up night after night.  “The energy from our audience is so huge that I find that anybody could get up there and play for two hours with that audience,” he said. “It’s remarkable.”
