Alan Jackson Brought Bluegrass to Carnegie Hall

Alan Jackson took the stage at New York’s world famous Carnegie Hall Monday night to perform songs from his new project, The Bluegrass Album, which is spending its fourth week at No. 1 on Billboard’s Bluegrass Albums sales chart. He was joined onstage by the noted bluegrass musicians that played on the album.

Following his Carnegie Hall concert, Alan will perform “Blacktop” on Late Show With David Letterman, airing at 11:35/10:35c on CBS on October 29. On November 6, he will team up with George Strait for a tribute to the legendary George Jones during The 47th Annual CMA Awards which air live on ABC at 8/7c.

Beginning Wednesday, October 30, Alan will be featured on SiriusXM’s Bluegrass Junction as The Bluegrass Album is the focus of this week’s Track by Track program. Check the schedule at www.siriusxm.com/bluegrassjunction for air times.
