The Band Perry’s Neil Perry loves playing music – but he also loves taking photos. Sometimes he captures candid shots of his siblings that they wish he wouldn’t share, but other times he has the opportunity to get some priceless shots.

“It’s one of the fun things that I get to do on the road too,  especially being a traveling band and getting to go all over the world taking photos of cool places,” Neil said. “But also taking photos with and of our heroes, as well. One of my favorite things is when we are at the Grand Ole Opry, taking photos of Little Jimmy Dickens, everybody over there.”

Neil’s photo skills came in handy for some of the artwork for their latest album, Pioneer. “All three of us are really involved in the artwork on the album,” he said. “We’re all visual people. When we write songs, we have images in our heads so it’s really important to us to be involved in that other side of the art, actually doing the artwork.”

The Band Perry will launch their We Are Pioneers Tour in Europe on November 8 with the North American leg of their tour kicking off in January. Their latest single, “Don’t Let Me Be Lonely,” is at radio now.
