Tim McGraw’s kids are growing up. His youngest daughter, Audrey, will be 12 in December and as Halloween approaches, he’s realized there likely won’t be any more trick-or-treating for the McGraw family.

“I think last year was our last trick-or-treating year,” he said. “It’s to the point now where they just like to go to a friend’s house, to a party or something, instead of going out trick-or-treating.”

It’s a bittersweet time for Tim and wife Faith Hill. “It’s sort of a relief to us because that’s a lot of work, getting ready to go out trick-or-treating,” he said. “But in another way you miss it because you know they’re growing up and you know that they’re moving on to other things. But it’s still an important and fun season around our house.”

While Halloween might be wrapping up in the McGraw household, it’s just getting started for Justin Moore. He admits that he hated everything about the holiday growing up, but now that he has two young daughters, Ella and Kennedy, things are changing. A recent phone call with Ella helped soften him towards the holiday even more.

“We were talking about something and just out of the blue she goes, ‘You know what I’m gonna be for Halloween? I’m gonna be a mermaid and Kennedy is gonna be an octopus,’” Justin said. “It is fun with kids. They enjoy it and I’m coming around a little bit.”
