With a 2013 that has included chart-topping hits and sold-out headlining tour dates, Florida Georgia Line and The Band Perry are looking forward to some well-deserved downtime over the holidays. When Florida Georgia Line wrap their 2013 tour dates on December 15, they plan to do absolutely nothing for the remainder of the year.

“Me and B.K. are looking forward to rewarding ourselves a little bit here at the end of the year, taking some time, sitting at the house all day long, doing whatever we want,” Tyler Hubbard said. “We just bought houses and probably only been there a handful of nights since we bought [them].”

Ultimately, they’re more looking forward to spending time with their family and friends and reflecting on the last year. “It’s been a crazy year and a lot to take in,” says Tyler. “We’ve loved it and we’ve loved working hard, and hopefully next year we can do it all over again. But the end of the year is going to be a time for winding down and just kind of taking it all in.”

As for The Band Perry, they will be making a conscious effort to slow down once they wrap the European leg of their We Are Pioneers World Tour. They do plan on putting in some prep work for 2014 before checking out for a couple of weeks.

“In the Perry household, because we eat, sleep, live, breath music, and have done so for like the last 15 years, we always kind of fly through the holidays,” Kimberly said. “We’re gonna finish all of our tour rehearsals before the two weeks and then just peace out. We’re excited about it. But it’s become more and more important to take that time because we do work so hard during the year.”
