Country legend Ray Price is in the hospital again, fighting his ongoing battle with pancreatic cancer. Texas Country Music Hall of Fame disc jockey Bill Mack, a friend of Ray’s, says the singer’s condition is stable.

“I was on the telephone with Janie Price (Mrs. Ray) for over an hour Sunday,” Mack posted on his Facebook page. “Ray was re-admitted to a hospital last week after spending some precious time in his ranch home. The pancreatic cancer, as expected, is causing additional, serious issues, although he is now in “stable” condition– after going through a very tough week.

“All-in-all, our good pal is very ill with pancreatic cancer, and your prayers are so very much appreciated,” he added. “Ray is well aware of your love and strong concern.”

Ray was hospitalized for dehydration back in May 2013.
