The Band Perry was thrilled to hear they are up for two ACM Awards, including Vocal Group of the Year and Music Video of the Year for their No. 1 hit “Better Dig Two.” The sibling trio has received the Vocal Group of the Year nomination for the last three years.

“It’s such an honor to find out about our two ACM Award nominations,” Reid Perry said. “We love the theatrics that happen in Vegas, and remember, what happens in Vegas … gets broadcast on live TV.”

The band performed as part of the NFL Tailgate Party before Super Bowl XLVIII and are in the middle of their We Are Pioneers World Tour. They will join Blake Shelton’s Ten Times Crazier Tour in June.

“We pride ourselves on living on the road,” Kimberly Perry said. “So when Blake called to ask us to join him of course we couldn’t say no! There’s nothing like getting to see the joy and excitement on our fans’ faces, and we can’t wait to meet new fans this summer.”

New duo Dan + Shay are also celebrating an ACM Awards nomination. The duo received their first-ever nomination in the Vocal Duo of the Year category. “We could not be prouder to be nominated,” they said in a statement. “It’s a dream come true.”

The duo also had another dream come true this week. They made their Grand Ole Opry debut on Saturday, February 1. They also released the music video for their debut single, “19 You + Me” last week.

The ACM Awards, co-hosted by Blake Sheltonand Luke Bryan, will air live from Las Vegas on CBS on April 6 at 8/7c.
