Randy Houser and wife Jessa Lee Yantz have filed for divorce, reports The Country Vibe. The couple made the decision after a trial separation. They reportedly filed for divorce in March.

“Yes, I can confirm this is true,” Randy’s publicist said in a statement. “They are appreciative of the media’s sensitivity toward their request for privacy during this time.”

The couple married on September 2, 2011, in the Dominican Republic. They are the parents of a two-year-old son, West Yantz Houser. A spokesman for Randy says the couple will continue to share joint custody of West, with Randy spending several days a week with his son when he is not on tour.

Randy debuted his new single, “Like A Cowboy,” on Letterman on May 14. The song is included on his latest album, How Country Feels.
