July 9, 2010, 1:33 pm LeAnn Rimes may have given up on Twitter this week, but she’s still hanging out with GAC, joining host Nan Kelley as a guest on this weekend’s edition of GAC’s Top 20 Country Countdown. LeAnn made headlines for announcing her departure for the moment from Twitter, the social-network outlet that allows people to send and follow messages 140 characters at a time. He took part Monday in the City of Hope Celebrity Softball Challenge, joining Joe Nichols, David Nail, Vince Gill and others on the “After Midnite With Blair Garner” team, which defeated the Grand Ole Opry squad 15-10. Chuck unfortunately got a raspberry chasing a ball, and the wound still stung Wednesday a.m., explaining his hobbling entrance at the Hall of Fame. Read More
June 4, 2010, 10:55 am A large chunk of the country audience still remembers LeAnn Rimes as the innocent, 13-year-old prodigy who blew people’s socks off with her big-voiced rendition of “Blue” in 1996. And that’s part of the reason that the end of her relationship last year with husband Dean Sheremet was shocking and scandalous for so many fans. LeAnn is not proud of the behavior, but she believes she ultimately ended up where she needs to be in her personal life. Read More
